Create a long-term lease

Set up monthly, seasonal, or annual tenancy with rent, deposit, and recurring charges.

5 min read

Long-term tenancy runs on leases — separate from nightly bookings. A lease ties one guest to one site lot for a defined term with a fixed rent cycle.

Create the lease

  1. 1 Open the admin panel and go to Leases.
  2. 2 Select the site lot and the tenant (guest account). The guest must have a ResortTribe account first.
  3. 3 Set the billing cycle: monthly, seasonal, or annual.
  4. 4 Enter the rent amount and deposit amount.
  5. 5 Set the lease start date. Leave end date blank for open-ended tenancy.
  6. 6 Save. The lease status starts as pending until you activate it.

Add recurring charges

If the tenant pays extra for a storage unit, an extra vehicle, or any fixed monthly fee, add it as a recurring charge. Every active recurring charge is added automatically to each invoice.

  1. 1 Open the lease and go to Recurring Charges.
  2. 2 Add each charge with a type, description, and monthly amount.
  3. 3 Toggle active or inactive at any time — an inactive charge is skipped on the next invoice.

Keep recurring charges specific. One charge per add-on makes invoices readable and disputes easier to resolve.
