Camp Mokule`ia was purchased by The Episcopal Church of Hawaii from the McInerny family in 1947. The original 2.5 acre site held buildings erected in the 1920s, of which the two-story studio and maintenance shop are the only remaining structures. This land, leased land to the west, and an additional donated 10 acres mauka comprise the 40 acres of pristine beauty that is Camp Mokule`ia.
